Detailed Description
Our Cheness Type 7 wakizashi employs a through
hardened 1045 carbon monosteel construction. This is our
first production wakizashi cutter that is fully sharpened
for cutting practices.
The standard type 7 has
a 6.5" tsuka (grip).
The 1045 carbon steel is our most affordable
line of live katanas. It is a great light cutter for dojos
and an excellent backyard cutter for everything from pool
noodles to melons, to water bottles on regular basis day
after day. The 1045 Carbon steel is slightly softer than
our 9260 and 1060 live blades, but still able to handle
occassional tatami omote.
The most amazing thing
about this line of swords is the price.
